Dakea
More than fifteen videos for Dakea, covering real projects, roof window installations, company events and internal communications. Full production, from the first plan to the final edit.
15+ films. From building sites to company stories.
Dakea makes roof windows for the professional market, working with builders, installers and merchants. Its stories reach beyond the product itself: the spaces people create, the decisions made on site and the people behind the business. My work for Dakea brings those different subjects together across a collection of more than fifteen videos.
Real projects. Practical stories.
A good construction case study connects a product to a real place and a real need. The playroom renovation films follow Danny from Calibre and his project using Dakea Ultima roof windows with electric openers. Other examples introduce a classic renovation and a development in Harpenden, showing the different settings in which Dakea’s products are used.
One person, throughout production.
I handled every aspect of the video production, including planning, filming and editing. The story starts before the camera comes out: understanding the purpose of the film, the audience and the moments that need to be captured.
On location, interviews and supporting footage give the subject both a voice and a setting. In post-production, I shape that material into a clear sequence, bringing the picture, sound and brand presentation together for the finished film.
Different audiences. A clear purpose.
The wider collection includes installation videos, company events and internal communications alongside customer case studies. Each format calls for a different emphasis: practical detail for an installation, people and atmosphere for an event, or a focused message for colleagues. The production follows what each audience needs to understand.
A growing collection of useful films.
